The air was full of the tasty aroma of Asian food from Korea, China, and Japan. City Council Candidate Herb Perez hosted 300 guest throughout the afternoon at the Making it Shine Asian Food Fest.
Local restaurants provided the food as part of Perez’s continued “Shop Local” campaign initiative.
Kobe Sushi and Spices of Edgewater Plaza provided food as well as MyungDong Tofu Cabin.
Perez interacted with the crowd throughout the day and listened to their concerns about the overcrowded schools and growing structural deficit.
