Foster City-Based Tech Company Grabs Trade Award
Webopedia.com's information technology site gets plaudits for design, usability.
A Foster City-based tech company just grabbed a prestigious trade prize.
Webopedia.com, an online dictionary for all things tech, took top honors at the 2012“WebAwards.”
The site, which is powered by QuinStreet.com, a Foster City-based online marketing firm, won plaudits from the Web Marketing Association for “creativity, design, innovation, impact, copywriting and memorability,” according to a company press release.

The website was heralded the "most useful online tech dictionary" available today.
"We are delighted to receive this acknowledgment of Webopedia.com's value to readers," Webopedia.com managing editor Vangie Beal said in a prepared statement.

Webopedia.com’s content focuses on technology related topics including e-commerce, social media, as well and developments in computer hardware, software, operating systems.
The site’s content is directed towards consumers and businesses.
